New Vista Seniors Program
New Vista Seniors Program exists to provide a ministry to the whole person (body, mind, and soul) for adults 55+ within our church and community.
Programs for Every Stage of Life
Come early to have coffee/tea and goodies, build friendships and meet new people. Our amazing team of kitchen volunteers prepare a healthy soup, sandwich and dessert lunch for everyone to enjoy.
- Musical Entertainment & Educational Workshops
- Program runs from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Special programs at Christmas and Easter
Each week a unique program is offered. The program may include:
- A variety of musical/entertainment groups or individuals – many of whom are also senior adults.
- A variety of speakers with presentations on topics of interest that may include lifestyle, humor, hobbies, human interest, health, protection, safety & services for seniors.
We care deeply about maintaining meaningful connections with New Vista attendees who are experiencing illness or are homebound, reaching out through phone calls, emails, and personal visits whenever possible.
When & Where
Wednesdays: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Season: September to June (including a Christmas break from mid-November to mid-January).
Location: Church Gym; 1480 Sutherland Avenue Kelowna V1Y 5Y5.
Cost: $4.00 for Lunch Meal (or pay what you can).
